New Kitchen on Fire Website!!!

June 26, 2009 12 Comments

After months of slaving away in his website creating head, Chef Olive finally completed the new and improved Kitchen on Fire website. The long awaited website has many of the same bells and whistles as the last site, but it is now more streamlined and easier to navigate. There are some great additions that include a gift shop where Kitchen on Fire has pre-selected cooking tools for you to buy through Amazon and, most important of all, we have created new pages filled with handy resources and links for your home kitchen and beyond.

When asked about all the hard work he put into the new website design, Chef Olive had this to say, “This project is something that I’ve been working on for a long time and poured a lot of sweat into. It took a lot of hard work and I couldn’t have done it without the help of a few members from our Kitchen on Fire culinary club and my business partner and friend Chef MikeC, who helped tremendously with website content. Hopefully this new website will mark a fresh start for Kitchen on Fire and for all of the exciting new things we are planning for our business – including a new blog that we hope to engage readers with and create a new audience that goes beyond the bay area.”

A man of many words, when I asked Chef Olive if he had any further comments he replied, “Shut up, Gilad. Just shut up.” Chef Olive has an incredible gift for always saying the right thing at the right time.

Marking the beginning of a new age for Kitchen on Fire, the updated website is symbolic of Chefs Mike C. and Olive’s intention to take their business to a new level. I asked them if this new level was like beating a castle in Super Mario Brothers or going from pre-school to kindergarten, but I was just politely told once again to keep my mouth tightly sealed and my fingers moving so that Kitchen on Fire can begin to share with the world all of the new and fun things that are happening inside the red brick walls of one of the bay area’s most dynamic kitchens. Alas, never a dull moment when working as an apprentice in a kitchen – especially when it comes to these guys.

To check out the website and see all of the great new classes that are being offered, go to www.kitchenonfire.com and start exploring.

Happy Eating!

  8. Please don’t take this the wrong way. I think your overall ideas are fine but you might want to put a little more thought into your next posts. I say this becuase it seems like your writing style has gone downhill a bit as opposed to your previous posts. – C.
